QUEENS - A passenger was thrown off a moving moped when the driver was shot during a wild shooting in Far Rockaway, cops said. 


At around 10:30 pm on April 13, a man was driving a moped with a female passenger in the vicinity of Redfern Avenue and Hassock Street. Cops said a gunman opened fire on the moped striking the driver in the torso. The female passenger fell off and scraped along the pavement. 





The gunman ran off in an unknown direction. Cops flooded the area following the shooting captured on Citizen App. 


The gunshot victim and the passenger where taken to Jamaica Hospital. Cops said the driver of the moped and the gunman knew each other but no motive for the shooting has been revealed.
