Cops ID Gunman in Queens Double Shooting  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a double shooting in Queens in which one man died. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 13, 2023  QUEENS - The NYPD released dramatic video of a gunman opening fire on a Queens street during a double shooting. One of the victims died and the other is recovering as police search for the gunman.  The NYPD released surveillance video which shows a man running backwards down a block while firing multiple rounds from a handgun. Cops said two men were shot in the torso from the hail of bullets.  Police have identified 32-year-old Jaime Robinson as the victim who died from his wounds.  At around 5 am yesterday, police responded to multiple 911 calls to the intersection of 199 Street and Hollis Avenue in Hollis, Queens. Upon arrival cops observed two men with gunshot wounds to their torsos.

1 Man Dead, 1 Wounded in Queens Double Shooting The NYPD responding to a double shooting in Queens in which one man was killed and another was wounded. -Citizen App By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice December 12, 2023 QUEENS - One man is dead and another is recovering after both men were found shot in the torso on a Queens street during an early morning double shooting, the NYPD said.  Police are still investigating the double shooting and details are scarce. The victim’s name has not been released pending family notification.  Here’s what we know so far. At around 5 am today, police responded to multiple 911 calls to the intersection of 199 Street and Hollis Avenue in Hollis,  Queens. Karaoke Sex Assault Suspect Busted

Arrest Made in Sex Assault in Queens Alleyway  The NYPD has made an arrest in the sexual assault of a woman near a Queens karaoke bar. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 8, 2023  QUEENS -  Cops made an arrest in the attack on a woman who was dragged into an alleyway and sexually assaulted near a popular Queens karaoke bar.  The NYPD announced the arrest of 40-year-old Myung Park of Bayside. He was charged with assault, 2 counts of criminal sexual act, aggravated sexual abuse and kidnapping.  At around 5 am on December 3, a 43-year-old woman was standing in front of a Queens karaoke bar on Northern Boulevard. Cops said a man in a black hoodie grabbed the woman and pulled her into an alleyway across from the bar.  In the alley the man proceeded to sexually abuse the victim. Candy, Smokes Stolen from Bodega at Gunpoint

Bodega Robbers Run Off with Candy, Smokes, Cash The NYPD is searching for this man and two others suspected of robbing a Queens grocery store at gunpoint. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 6, 2023  QUEENS - A trio of gunmen apparently needed smokes and candy when they decided to rob a Queens bodega at gunpoint, cops said. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects.  At around 10:30 pm on December 3, three men walked into a grocery store at 218-30 Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. Cops said all three men displayed silver handguns and demanded cash.  According to investigators, as one of the robbers forced the clerk to hand over cash from the register, the other gunmen walked through the store taking items off the shelves.  Cops said the robbers took $1,500 in cash, $160 in tobacco products and $15 in candy.  No injuries were reported.   All three suspects are males with dark complexions and were last seen wearing black hoodies. confidential.I’m  By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice November 23, 2023  NEW YORK  - The NYPD released surveillance video of a pair of baby-faced thieves who pulled a knife on their victim outside a Queens library.  At around 1 am on October 22, a 38-year-old man was walking outside the Queens Library on 104th Street. Cops said two young suspects ran up to him, pulled out a knife and placed the blade against the victim’s stomach. The other suspect rumaged through the victim’s pockets and removed a wallet and credit cards.  The two robbers then ran off in an unknown direction. Investigators scoured surveillance video and found the two suspects from inside a local grocery store.  Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to catch the alleged crooks.  The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and thin build. The NYPD is searching for two men in connection with a robbery and assault in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice November 21, 2023 QUEENS - The NYPD is searching for two men who placed a Queens man in a chokehold to steal his phone.  At around 4:30 am on November 7, a 39-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 92nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Cops said two men ran up behind the man and placed him in a chokehold. The attackers dragged the victim to the ground choking him as he hit the sidewalk.  Cops said the attackers then rumaged through the victim’s pockets removing his cell phone and wallet. The attackers then ran off northbound on 37th Avenue.   The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects who were draped in black. 

DUI Crash - Man Pleads Guilty to Crash that Killed Cop

A Queens man pled guilty in the fatal crash that killed an off-duty NYPD Officer. -File Photo By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  November 20, 2023  QUEENS - A Queens man pled guilty in the fatal crash of an off-duty police officer. The driver, whose blood alcohol level tested over the legal limit, sped through a stop sign and slammed into the officer’s car, prosecutors said.  Kassun Brown pled guilty to manslaughter in the fatal accident that killed Police Officer Michael Ellis who was off-duty and driving his own vehicle at the time. Brown admitted to running through a stop sign and crashing into Ellis in 2020.  “The defendant’s recklessness prematurely took the life of a young NYPD officer,” said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. “We welcome the guilty plea and hope it will provide some solace to Officer Ellis’ loved ones.”   Prosecutors said surveillance video showed Brown was driving a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it blew past a stop sign at the intersection of Nashville Boul
