MTA Conductor Attacked at Jamaica Center Station The NYPD is looking for this man in connection with an attack on an MTA conductor at Jamaica station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice June 5, 2024 QUEENS - An MTA train conductor who tried to break up a fight at a Queens subway station was himself attacked, cops said.   At around midnight on May 20, a 36-year-old conductor was on duty when he saw a fight between two men on the Jamaica Center train platform at the Parsons Boulevard/Archer Avenue train station.  Cops said when the conductor went to break up the fight, one of the men punched him in the face. The attacker then ran out of the station. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect taken at the turnstiles.   The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is between the ages of 35 and 40, slim build and 180 pounds. Kids Robbed at Knifepoint

Robbers Steal Kids’ Phones  The NYPD is searching for these two men in connection with the robbery of three kids at knifepoint. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  June 4, 2024 QUEENS - Police are looking for two men who pulled knives on a group of children and robbed them in Queens.  At around 8:30 pm on June 1, a group of children were on the corner of 103 Street and Roosevelt Avenue: two 12 year old boys and a 13 year old. Cops said two men walked up to the kids and pulled out knives. The men demanded that the youth hand over their cellphones.  Cops said the young victims handed over the phones and the pair ran off.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken from a nearby subway station.  The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and slim build. VIDEO - Gunmen Open Fire on Queens Basketball Court, Wound Teens The NYPD is searching for these men in connection with a drive-by shooting at a Queens basketball court. -Photos by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice May 30, 2024 QUEENS - Gunmen committed a drive by on “green” transport wounding two teenagers in Queens, cops said. One of the gunmen rode a Citibike and the other rode a metal kick scooter.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the two suspects. Both suspects wore black hoodies and masks to cover their appearances. Cops said they committed the drive by while riding the bike and scooter.  At around 4:15 pm on May 29, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were playing on the basketball court located in the rear of 441 Beach 51 Street.  The two men in black rode up, pulled out handguns and fired off multiple rounds.  The 15-year-old female suffered gunshot wounds to the left leg and right arm. Crime - Gunman Robs Queens Gas Station, Steals Merch The NYPD has identified Jose Valentin of Brooklyn in connection with the armed robbery of a gas station mini market in New Hyde Park. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice May 29, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a gunman who had the munchies when he robbed a gas station mini mart in Queens.  Using surveillance cameras inside the mini mart the NYPD has identified the suspect from a past mug shot. The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Jose Valentin of Brooklyn.  According to police, at around 3:15 am on May 14, the suspect, seen on video wearing a mask, arrived at the gas station at 134-30 Atlantic Avenue. 

Scooter Riding Purse Snatchers Wanted by Cops

Woman Punched, Dragged for her Purse The NYPD is searching for a robbery crew that violently steals purses. In one case a woman was punched and dragged for her purse. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice May 22, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are searching for a scooter riding purse snatching crew in Queens which hit two victims in a three-hour period.  At around 7:25 pm on May 7, a 50-year-old woman was walking home when she was approached by a moped in front of 38-14 30th Street. Cops said the moped pulled up and the suspect on the back grabbed the woman’s purse off her shoulder and then took off. The victim sustained lacerations to her hand but refused medical attention. The NYPD released this photo of the suspected purse snatchers. -Photo by NYPD Three hours later the same crew struck again.  Cops said a 38-year-old woman was walking home and was in front of 88-10 88th Street.
