Ride Share Driver Attacked, Robbed Police are looking for four men in connection with an attack on an Uber driver in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice July 28, 2023 QUEENS - An Uber driver was beaten and robbed by four men he picked up as passengers in Queens last month. Now police released new surveillance video of the four men who allegedly beat their driver. At around 2:30 am on June 16, the 51-year-old Uber driver picked up four passengers in the vicinity of   137-03 168  Street. As the ride share car drove through Jamaica, Queens, at one point the passengers attacked. The riders hopped over the seat and began beating the driver. Cops said the passengers punched the driver and removed property from him before exiting the vehicle and fleeing on foot southbound on 233rd Street. Couple Tasered, Tied Up in Elaborate Home Invasion Cops are looking for two men who posed as FBI agents to rob a couple of cash, crypto and a Mercedes. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice July 21, 2023 QUEENS - A pair of phony FBI agents committed a home invasion in Queens tasing and tying up the couple and stealing their Mercedes as well as $20,000 in cash and $20,000 in crypto as well as luxury items, cops said. Police released surveillance video of the suspected home invaders who dressed in suits and a visible FBI logo patch beneath the sport coat of one of the suspects.  At around 7:30 am on July 16, a 25-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were returning home when a Porsche Cayenne pulled up with two men climbing  out of the vehicle claiming to be FBI agents. Cops recovered a handgun at one of the random scooter shootings. -Photo by NYPD 1 Killed, 3 Injured in Shooting Spree in Queens, Brooklyn Queens Voice  July 10, 2023 QUEENS - A Brooklyn man has been charged in the random drive by shootings on a scooter that left one man dead and three others wounded, prosecutors said.  Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that Thomas Abreu has been charged with murder, attempted murder, assault and weapon possession in a Saturday morning shooting spree that killed an 86-year-old man and injured three others in Queens and Brooklyn.   “The streets of two boroughs were turned into scenes of terror as this defendant allegedly rode his scooter, shooting indiscriminately at pedestrians and others,” District Attorney Katz said. “Thank you to the NYPD for quickly apprehending the suspect.
