Push-In Robber Threatens 92-Year-Old Woman with Knife

Robber Pushes Way into Elderly Woman’s Home, Robs Her The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a push-in robbery in which an elderly woman was threatened with a knife. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 4, 2024 QUEENS - A knife-wielding thief pushed his way into a 92-year-old woman’s home in Queens and then robbed her, the NYPD said. At around 11 am on January 3, a young man knocked on the door to an elderly woman’s home in the vicinity of 231 Street and 64 Avenue. The 92-year-old woman opened the door and engaged in a conversation with the man. Suddenly the man pushed his way inside and displayed a knife to the elderly victim, cops said. The man took the victim’s wallet which contained credit cards and $100 cash before fleeing, cops said. The victim suffered only minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene. Knife Attack in Bayside: Man Slashed in Hand During Dispute With Scooter Riders, Police Say

Knife Attack on Bell Boulevard Leaves 30-Year-Old Injured in Bayside By Staff Reporter Queens Voice July 24, 2026 BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are searching for two suspects after a 30-year-old man was slashed during an early morning confrontation in Bayside. According to investigators, the attack happened at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, outside 39-26 Bell Boulevard. Police said the victim was walking when two unidentified men riding a scooter approached him from behind. The encounter quickly escalated into a verbal dispute. During the confrontation, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed the victim's right hand, causing a laceration. Emergency medical crews responded to the scene and transported the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Teen Robbed of $2,300 Chain by Suspects on E-Bike in Jackson Heights

Moped Riding Chain Snatchers Rip Off Teen By Staff Reporter Queens Voice July 27, 2026 JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens — Police are searching for two suspects after a 17-year-old girl was robbed of a gold chain worth about $2,300 while walking along Northern Boulevard last week. According to the NYPD, the robbery happened on July 20, 2026, at approximately 6:50 p.m. in front of 78-15 Northern Boulevard. Investigators said the teenage victim was walking when two unidentified individuals approached her on an e-bike. One of the suspects allegedly reached out and snatched the chain from around her neck before the pair sped away. The suspects fled northbound on 79th Street, police said. Despite the brazen theft, the victim was not injured during the incident. The NYPD has released surveillance images of the two individuals wanted for questioning in connection with the robbery.
