Hot Head Opens Fire During Arguement

QUEENS - A heated arguement turned into fists and then bullets flying outside the construction site of a new affordable housing building in Jamaica. 


At around 6:50 pm on December 6, a 22-year-old man got into an argument with an older man outside 132-77 Metropolitan Avenue. The heated argument turned physical when the two men began to fight each other. 


Apparently the older man was getting the worst of it because he pulled out a handgun and fired it towards the ground. Luckily no one was injured. 




The gunman then fled on foot northbound towards Metropolitan Avenue. 



No injuries were reported. 


A witness captured an image of the gunman on a cell phone. The suspect is described as a man in his mid 30s with a light complexion. He weighs around 250 pounds and has a large build with short, dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue 'NY Yankees' baseball cap, a dark colored hooded jacket, white t-shirt, dark sweatpants and white sneakers.

Hospital staff told the officers that a man walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died a short time later. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Curtis Moe of Brooklyn. An investigation revealed that Moe was shot in the chest in front of 178-16 Leslie Road.

Gunman Sought by Cops The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a shooting in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice March 18, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a man who opened fire on a Queens street. At around 5:45 pm on March 12, a 26-year-old male was standing in front of 76-07 160th Street. Cops said a man in a black coat and a black face covering ran up and pulled out a gun. The gunman fired multiple rounds at the victim but missed. The gunman then ran away on in an unknown direction. However, cops recovered surveillance video of the suspect from a nearby house. The suspect is described as an 18-year-old male with a medium complexion and thin build. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, black face covering, multi-color sneakers and black book bag. Moped Riding Muggers Strike Thru-Out Queens

Robbed 4 People in 1 Night The NYPD is searching for a pair of muggers who robbed four people on the same night in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice April 21, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a robbery duo who have stuck up three people, including a food delivery driver, at gunpoint all on the same night. At around 2:40 am on April 16, a 34-year-old man was walking home in the vicinity of 37 Avenue and 71 Street. Cops said two men approached him and punched him in the face. The other suspect pulled out a gun and yanked a gold necklace off the victim and took his wallet and cellphone. The crooks then drove off on a moped. Twenty minutes later the same crew robbed a food delivery driver of his cash and moped. At around 3 am, a food delivery driver was parked in the vicinity of 75 street and 30 Avenue.  Cops said the robbers ordered the man off his moped and then punched him in the face.
