2 Women Beaten in Queens in Separate Attacks Police are searching for this man in connection with an attack on a woman on a Queens subway train. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice May 25, 2023 QUEENS - Two women are recovering after being beaten in separate unprovoked subway attacks in Queens. Police released surveillance video in both attacks.   At around 10:45 am on May 24, a 52-year-old woman was riding a southbound E train. As the train approached the Queens Plaza station a man yelled at her. Police said the attacker told the woman to “look somewhere else.” The man then walked over to her and repeatedly punched the woman in the head.  When the train stopped at Queens Plaza the attacker fled.  The woman was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.  The suspect is described as a man in his 30s who is six feet tall. The allegations are also the subject of a recent complaint to federal regulators. Now  the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating Swissport, a company tasked with cleaning and loading passenger planes for Spirit Airlines and Air Canada at LaGuardia. Police are searching for this man in connection with the burglary of two homes in Flushing. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  May 24, 2023  QUEENS - A burglar who robbed two Flushing homes has made off with at least $65,000 worth cash and jewelry and now police are asking for the public’s help to catch him. At around 3 pm on April 27, a masked man entered a residential home through a side windowin the vicinity of 192 Street and Station Road. Once inside the thief unplugged the WiFi router. Then he rumaged through the apartment taking cash, jewelry and handbags.  Cops said the total value of the items taken his about $16,000.  The next burglary happened two days later. At around noon on April 27, the thief slipped into the house through a side window.
