QUEENS - A Queens subway rider was beaten and robbed by a pair of attackers who displayed a knife and a pair of pliers, cops said.

At around 8 pm on April 20, a 20-year-old man was onboard an F Train in Queens. As the train was pulling in to the Hillside Avenue/179 Street Subway Station, two men approached the straphanger.

Cops said one of the men pulled out a knife, the other pulled out a pair of pliers. The attackers then began punching and kicking the straphanger. They also beat the man with the pliers, cops said. The attackers went on to forcibly removed the victim’s cellphone and wallet.

When the train stopped at the station, the attackers ran out of the subway car and fled the station.

EMS rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where was listed in stable condition.

The NYPD released surveillance video from inside the subway station.

The suspects are both described as males about 5 foot 10 with medium complexions.
