‘Bad Boy’ Beats Man with Bike Lock at Subway Station

Man Beaten with Bike Lock The NYPD is searching for a man wearing a jacket with the words "Bad Boy" in connection with an assault. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice December 17, 2023 QUEENS - The NYPD is searching for a man wearing a jacket that says “Bad Boy” for allegedly striking a man in the head with a bike lock. At around 2 am on October 11,   a 26-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of Queens Boulevard and Union Turnpike train station. Cops said without warning, a man walked up behind him and hit him in the back of the head with a metal lock.  The attack caused a laceration on the victim’s head. The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. The suspect fled on foot. However, surveillance video from a nearby train station captured an image of the suspect when he went through the turnstile.

MTA Worker Hit in Face in Subway Station Attack - NYPD Says  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault on an MTA employee. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 15, 2023  QUEENS - A female MTA worker was hit in the face with a flying mop at a Queens subway station and police are looking for her attacker.  At around midnight on December 6, a 37-year-old female MTA worker was on duty at the Ditmars Boulevard and 31 Street Subway Station. Cops said the transit worker was standing on the northbound platform of the N train when she was attacked.  According to the NYPD a man picked up a mop and threw it her head like a javelin. The mop struck the MTA worker in the face. That attacker then fled the station.  Cops said the victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital by private means.  Investigators said it is unclear why the attacker targeted the MTA worker. The assault appears to be a random attack, cops said. 

Sneaker Thief Steals 20 Pairs of Kicks from Home

Burglar Steals $2000 Worth of Sneakers from Queens House  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the theft of $2,000 worth of sneakers from a Queens home. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 15, 2023  QUEENS - A sneaker thief was caught on surveillance video stealing 20 pairs of kicks from a house in Bayside, Queens.  At around 4:30 am on December 2, a home surveillance camera recorded a man crawling through the backyard of a home on Bay Street. The man hops over a fence and then proceeds to gain entrance to the home through an open window.  Cops said the man removed 20 pairs of sneakers and jewelry before fleeing from the home. Cops said the 20 pairs of sneakers are valued at $2,000. Gunman Steals $1,500 Worth of Smokes, Weed Products from Smoke Shop  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the armed robbery of a Queens smoke shop. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 13, 2023  QUEENS - A gunman was caught on surveillance video sticking up a Queens smoke shop for smokes and weed products, the NYPD said.  At around 10 am on December 8, a man wearing a black hoodie walked into a smoke shop on Jamaica Avenue. Store surveillance video shows the man pointing a gun at the store employee demanding cash.  The suspect is then seen on video hopping over the counter and removing cash, cigarettes and marijuana products. He then fled the store without incident.  Cops said the robber stole $1,360 worth of cigarettes, $808 worth of marijuana products and an undetermined amount of cash.  The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is between the ages of 18 and 25. Double Shooting Caught on Camera in Queens

Cops ID Gunman in Queens Double Shooting  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a double shooting in Queens in which one man died. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 13, 2023  QUEENS - The NYPD released dramatic video of a gunman opening fire on a Queens street during a double shooting. One of the victims died and the other is recovering as police search for the gunman.  The NYPD released surveillance video which shows a man running backwards down a block while firing multiple rounds from a handgun. Cops said two men were shot in the torso from the hail of bullets.  Police have identified 32-year-old Jaime Robinson as the victim who died from his wounds.  At around 5 am yesterday, police responded to multiple 911 calls to the intersection of 199 Street and Hollis Avenue in Hollis, Queens. Upon arrival cops observed two men with gunshot wounds to their torsos.

1 Man Dead, 1 Wounded in Queens Double Shooting The NYPD responding to a double shooting in Queens in which one man was killed and another was wounded. -Citizen App By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice December 12, 2023 QUEENS - One man is dead and another is recovering after both men were found shot in the torso on a Queens street during an early morning double shooting, the NYPD said.  Police are still investigating the double shooting and details are scarce. The victim’s name has not been released pending family notification.  Here’s what we know so far. At around 5 am today, police responded to multiple 911 calls to the intersection of 199 Street and Hollis Avenue in Hollis,  Queens. Upon arrival cops observed two men with gunshot wounds to their torsos. 

Karaoke Sex Assault Suspect Busted

Arrest Made in Sex Assault in Queens Alleyway  The NYPD has made an arrest in the sexual assault of a woman near a Queens karaoke bar. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 8, 2023  QUEENS -  Cops made an arrest in the attack on a woman who was dragged into an alleyway and sexually assaulted near a popular Queens karaoke bar.  The NYPD announced the arrest of 40-year-old Myung Park of Bayside. He was charged with assault, 2 counts of criminal sexual act, aggravated sexual abuse and kidnapping.  At around 5 am on December 3, a 43-year-old woman was standing in front of a Queens karaoke bar on Northern Boulevard. Cops said a man in a black hoodie grabbed the woman and pulled her into an alleyway across from the bar.  In the alley the man proceeded to sexually abuse the victim. The attacker then slipped out of the alley and fled on foot westbound on Northern Boulevard.  The victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens where she was treated for non l

Candy, Smokes Stolen from Bodega at Gunpoint

Bodega Robbers Run Off with Candy, Smokes, Cash The NYPD is searching for this man and two others suspected of robbing a Queens grocery store at gunpoint. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 6, 2023  QUEENS - A trio of gunmen apparently needed smokes and candy when they decided to rob a Queens bodega at gunpoint, cops said. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects.  At around 10:30 pm on December 3, three men walked into a grocery store at 218-30 Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. Cops said all three men displayed silver handguns and demanded cash.  According to investigators, as one of the robbers forced the clerk to hand over cash from the register, the other gunmen walked through the store taking items off the shelves.  Cops said the robbers took $1,500 in cash, $160 in tobacco products and $15 in candy.  No injuries were reported.   All three suspects are males with dark complexions and were last seen wearing black hoodies.
