QUEENS - The NYPD released new photos of a man sought in the slashing of a Brazilian tourist at a Queens subway station. The new photos show the suspect without a mask covering his face.

Cops say the man on the surveillance video is the one who slashed a Brazilian tourist across the neck with a knife.

The new video shows the suspect without a face mask so he could smoke a cigarette.

At around 10:30 am on February 15, a 29-year-old tourist from Brazil was standing on the mezzanine level of the Queens Plaza subway station on the "E, M, R" line. Cops said without warning a man dressed in a black balaclava and gray hoodie walked up behind him and slashed the left side of the tourist’s neck with a knife.

The knife-totting suspect ran out of the station but not before his image was captured on subway surveillance cameras.

The victim was rushed by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
