QUEENS - Cops are looking for a masked gunman who robbed two bodegas at gunpoint on Rockaway Beach.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect taken during one of the robberies. In the video, the suspect is dressed all in black, including black gloves and ski mask, and is seen pointing a gun at the clerk behind the counter.
The first robbery took place at around 1 am on February 7. The masked robber walked into 97-06 Rockaway Beach Boulevard and pointed a black handgun at the 55-year-old employee standing behind the counter.
The clerk handed over $400 cash and the gunman fled.

The next robbery happened around 11 pm on February 18. The gunman dressed in black walked into the grocery store at 224 Beach 98 Street. Cops said he pointed a gun at the 41-year-old employee and made off with $200 cash and the clerk’s cellphone.
No injuries were reported in either robbery.
