QUEENS - Cops are looking for a crook who hid in the bushes before breaking into the garage to an apartment building in Queens.
The NYPD released surveillance footage of a suspect seen crouching in the foliage outside an apartment building at 52-40 39th Drive last month.
At around 12:30 am on February 19, the suspect pried open the door to the building’s parking garage for the tenants. Once inside, the crook broke into several cars removing cash and items inside the vehicles.
The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
It is unknown how much cash and valuables the crook took.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat, scarf and a black knit pom pom cap with bands of dark green and red around the brim.
