Thieves Steal Safe from Building in Broad Daylight in Queens

QUEENS - A pair of brazen crooks were caught on camera stealing a safe from a building and wheeling it out on a hand truck in broad daylight in Queens, cops said. 





At around 2:30 pm on May 7, two men entered a building in the vicinity of Dinsmore Avenue and Beach 9th Street in Far Rockaway. Cops said the crooks broke into a storage room and removed safe.  





The NYPD released surveillance video showing the suspects loading the safe, which was on a hand truck into an elevator. They are then seen casually walking through the lobby of the building with the safe. 



Cops said the loaded the safe into a dark-color Ford Taurus and drove away. 


According to the surveillance video, both suspects appear to be stocky built with light complexions. They both wore black hoodies, black pants, black baseball caps and black masks.
