QUEENS - A pair of covid-mask wearing bandits robbed a cell phone store in Jamaica by threatening the lone female employee, cops said.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the masked suspects from last month’s robbery.
At around 8 pm on September 25, two men dressed in hoodies, paper masks and surgical gloves walked into the Total Wireless store at 159-08 Hillside Avenue. Cops said the men walked up to the 23-year-old employee and “threatened her.”
The men then ripped iPhones off displays and raided the till. Cops said the men made off with an undetermined amount of cash as they took off on foot north on Parons Boulevard.
The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a red and blue hooded sweatshirt along with red and blue sweatpants and multi-colored sneakers.
The second suspect is a male with a dark complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green and black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
