Hate Crime Attack Over Wearing Turban on Bus

Police are looking at the assault on a bus in Richmond as a possible hate crime after the suspect shouted about the victim wearing a turban and tried to rip it off the man’s head. At around 9 am on October 15, a 19-year-old man wearing a turban was riding a shuttle bus in the vicinity of 118th Street and Liberty Avenue. Cops said another passenger suddenly began yelling at him unprovoked.
