Toolbox Muggers Attack Man on F Train The NYPD is searching for these men in connection with an assault and robbery of a straphanger using pliers. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice April 24, 2024 QUEENS - A Queens subway rider was beaten and robbed by a pair of attackers who displayed a knife and a pair of pliers, cops said.  At around 8 pm on April 20, a 20-year-old man was onboard an F Train in Queens. As the train was pulling in to the Hillside Avenue/179 Street Subway Station, two men approached the straphanger.  Cops said one of the men pulled out a knife, the other pulled out a pair of pliers. The attackers then began punching and kicking the straphanger. They also beat the man with the pliers, cops said. The suspect not only was caught taking the TV off the wall in front of a running camera that recorded him, but also hit himself in the face with the TV, video shows.  At around, 12:30 am on April 13, the suspect entered St. John’s University through an unlocked door, cops said. In a student lounge area the suspect is recorded on a camera mounted right next to a mounted large-screen TV.  The suspect is seen on video yanking the TV off the wall. Robbed 4 People in 1 Night The NYPD is searching for a pair of muggers who robbed four people on the same night in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice April 21, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a robbery duo who have stuck up three people, including a food delivery driver, at gunpoint all on the same night. At around 2:40 am on April 16, a 34-year-old man was walking home in the vicinity of 37 Avenue and 71 Street. Cops said two men approached him and punched him in the face. The other suspect pulled out a gun and yanked a gold necklace off the victim and took his wallet and cellphone. The crooks then drove off on a moped. Twenty minutes later the same crew robbed a food delivery driver of his cash and moped. At around 3 am, a food delivery driver was parked in the vicinity of 75 street and 30 Avenue.  Cops said the robbers ordered the man off his moped and then punched him in the face. Cellphone Thieves Hit Man in Face with Baseball Bat  The NYPD is searching for these men in connection with an attack on a Queens man with a baseball bat. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  April 19, 2024  QUEENS - A pair of thieves bashed a Queens man in the face with a baseball bat to get his cellphone, cops said.  At around 7 pm on April 13, a 22-year-old man was walking home in the vicinity of 189 Street and Aberdeen Road. Cops said the man was suddenly struck in the face with a baseball bat. He was then bashed in the head with the bat.  As the victim fell to the floor, the attackers grabbed his cellphone and ran to a waiting Pontiac Grand Am. Stranger Starts Argument Then Punches Rider The NYPD is searching for this man for allegedly sucker punching a straphanger waiting for a train. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice April 18, 2024 QUEENS - A man waiting for a train in Jamaica Hills was repeatedly smashed in the face by a man during a random attack, cops said.  At around 3:30 am on April 12, a 37-year-old man was standing on the platform waiting for a northbound F train at the 169th Street subway station. Cops said a man began arguing with the straphanger.  Then the man walked over to rider and punched the victim twice in the face, cops said. The attacker then ran off.    The victim suffered injuries to his mouth but refused medical attention at the scene.
